On February 21, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Activities of Ha Tinh Province (Steering Committee) held a regular meeting. Comrade Hoang Trung Dung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Activities of the province chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were comrade Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

According to the report and discussion at the meeting, in the first two months of 2024, the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity continued to receive attention from the Steering Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee. The Steering Committee held a conference to summarize activities in 2023, deploy key tasks in 2024; and issue a Plan to inspect the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in 2024.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee - the Standing Body of the Steering Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, the Provincial Police, and the Provincial Party Committee Office have advised the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to implement the Conclusion on controlling power and preventing and combating corruption and negativity in personnel work and promulgate the Key Work Program on Internal Affairs, Judicial Reform and Prevention and Combating Corruption and Negativity. The Provincial People's Council promulgates the program, supervision plan, and resolutions on socio-economics . The Provincial People's Committee promulgates documents to implement key work on Internal Affairs, Judicial Reform and Prevention and Combating Corruption and Negativity according to the program of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee...

In general, Party committees and authorities from the provincial to grassroots levels have promptly grasped, developed programs and plans, and implemented leadership and direction documents from higher levels, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the Steering Committee.

In order to effectively carry out the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; promptly propose solutions to resolve cases and incidents that have been monitored and directed, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee requests agencies and units, according to their functions and tasks, to continue to promote the work of propagating, disseminating and educating the law; build a culture of integrity, self-awareness, and exemplary implementation of the Party and State's regulations on preventing and combating corruption and negativity among cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and the people, in conjunction with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Correct and overcome shortcomings discovered through inspection, supervision and audit work in the following areas: development and implementation of working regulations; land management; bidding, construction investment and other areas prone to corruption and negativity. Focus on thoroughly handling cases under the supervision of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity.

Assign the Standing Office of the Steering Committee to complete the 2024 work program of the Steering Committee for promulgation. Advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Action to direct and implement related contents in Notice No. 41-TB/BCĐTW dated February 5, 2024 concluding the 25th meeting of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negative Action.

Implement the plan to inspect the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of anti-corruption and anti-negativity work in localities and units. Monitor and urge timely reporting on the implementation of the conclusions of the Head of the Steering Committee at the Standing Committee meetings and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Anti-Negativity.
