The Secretariat announced the draft inspection report for 2024 in Quang Nam.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrades Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

Established under Decision 1356-QDTW, dated July 9, 2024 of the Secretariat, on August 12, 2024, Inspection Team 1356 organized the announcement of the inspection plan and conducted an inspection of the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee on the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW, dated October 25, 2021 of the Central Executive Committee of the Party on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling and strictly handling cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation".

After studying the self-inspection report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and related documents, the results of the examination and verification at 5 party organizations in the Provincial Party Committee, Inspection Team 1356 has drafted the inspection report.

In particular, the Inspection Delegation assessed that over the past years, Party committees and Party organizations in the entire Provincial Party Committee have focused on leading and directing the implementation of Conclusion No. 21 seriously, comprehensively, with focus and key points, creating positive changes in Party building and rectification work, contributing to improving leadership capacity, fighting strength, solidarity and unity within the Party, consolidating the trust of cadres, Party members and people in the Party and the State; Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members have a deeper and more complete awareness and identification of manifestations of degradation, "self-evolution", and "self-transformation".

Political and ideologicaleducation work has been strengthened, with renewed content and methods in the direction of closely following the grassroots, being timely, extensive and diverse in forms; the quality of activities of party organizations and socio-political organizations, especially party committees and standing committees at all levels, has been enhanced; self-criticism and criticism have been strictly implemented; the leadership, direction and implementation of exemplary responsibilities of cadres and party members, especially heads of party committees at all levels, have been focused on...

The draft inspection report also pointed out the limitations and causes in the implementation of Conclusion No. 21 at the Provincial Party Committee.

The opinions discussed at the meeting were basically consistent with the assessment of the draft inspection report. According to Head of the Central External Relations Commission Le Hoai Trung, during the working process, the Inspection Delegation and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee thoroughly grasped the viewpoints of the Politburo and the Secretariat regarding the inspection, methods, manners, content of the implementation and selection of organizations and units to conduct the inspection.

Acknowledging and appreciating the implementation of Conclusion No. 21 in Quang Nam, according to comrade Le Hoai Trung, the province's development achievements in recent times have been contributed by the effective implementation of Conclusion 21. With a deep understanding of the importance of implementing Conclusion 21, the province has proactively developed a study and dissemination plan; and implemented solutions to create impact and change in the work of Party building and rectification.

In the coming time, comrade Le Hoai Trung suggested that the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee continue to proactively carry out political and ideological education work; focus on overcoming perceived limitations with specific and effective solutions, creating a foundation to continue promoting revolutionary traditions, overcoming difficulties, and striving to build and develop Quang Nam.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Provincial Party Committee Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet received comments from members of the Inspection Team; instructions and conclusions of the working session by Head of the Central External Relations Commission Le Hoai Trung. The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee will direct the continued provision of additional information to the Inspection Team, contributing to clarifying the results of implementation in the past time, as well as some recommendations and proposals to the Central Government.

According to comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Quang Nam is aware that this is an extremely important Conclusion and focusing on implementing it well also means improving the quality of the province's political system in the coming time; promoting the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members in carrying out political tasks in the locality.
