Jennifer Aniston follows the 15-15-15 method and skips breakfast every day to stay fit and healthy at age 54.

Jennifer once believed in the "no pain, no gain" training philosophy and focused on cardio, HIIT (fat burning exercises), resistance training, and heavy weight lifting. However, the actress later admitted that this method was not suitable for her body, easily leaving her exhausted and stagnant.

Now, she sets up a more minimalist workout, called the 15-15-15 method, with 15 minutes of cycling, 15 minutes of running on the treadmill, and 15 minutes on the cross-trainer (combining both legs and arms).

"I got injured last fall and could only do Pilates, which I really love. But it doesn't give me the strength to sweat. After I recovered, I did the 15-15-15 exercise again," she said on June 7.

Experts say dividing a cardio workout into several small exercises will reduce boredom and help work multiple muscle groups.

According to the UK's National Institute of Health (NHS), the average age a woman reaches menopause is around 51. Chelsea Labadini, a professional fitness trainer, says Jennifer's 15-15-15 method helps increase bone density at a time when the body begins to age.

"Running is a weight-bearing activity that helps promote bone cell production, which is necessary for new bone growth," she explains.

However, Labadini also said that women should avoid doing this exercise every day if they want to build muscle. Instead, people should focus on lifting weights. According to her, women of Jennifer's age will benefit a lot from resistance training, because it helps maintain muscle mass that is lost as we age.

In addition to her healthy workout regimen, Jennifer also skips breakfast . This is part of the intermittent fasting method - a term that describes a cyclical eating and fasting method that allows the body enough time to fully digest food while strictly limiting the amount of calories consumed.

There are two forms of intermittent fasting: time-restricted eating (eating for 6-8 hours and fasting for the remaining 16-18 hours) or continuous fasting for 16 to 24 hours, twice a week.

Some studies show that intermittent fasting can help with weight loss, improve memory and mental performance, heart health, and type 2 diabetes. It is also a supportive treatment for cancer.
