According to the information of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Kan, the above milk is SP-Milk GROW IQ milk product of VITA Nutrition Food Company Limited. The school's milk feeding is to implement the plan to care for, nurture and educate children according to the regulations of the preschool education program. All schools develop menus for meals and make them public according to regulations.
“ Because the budget for snacks is not much, this milk product is priced appropriately for the conditions of schools. Schools use this milk 1 to 2 times a week for snacks” - Bac Kan Department of Education and Training said.
After receiving public opinion from parents and social networks, schools have temporarily stopped using this type of milk and replaced it with other dishes, such as: vermicelli, pho, porridge, rice rolls, pumpkin milk, corn milk, etc. "Since using this milk product, there have been no cases of poisoning or food safety violations in all schools" - Bac Kan Department of Education and Training affirmed.

In response to this incident, the People's Committee of Bac Kan province requested the People's Committee of Bac Kan city to preside over and immediately inspect the implementation of the food supply process; take samples of SP-Milk GROW IQ milk products of VITA Nutrition Food Company Limited for testing and verification.
Direct kindergartens to strictly implement regulations on ensuring food hygiene and safety, improve the quality of child care and nutrition. Strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of regulations on ensuring food hygiene and safety; rectify and strictly handle violating groups and individuals, if any.
Bac Kan province also directed districts to review and grasp information on food safety and hygiene, including the use of milk in children's menus at preschools.
The Department of Health coordinates in conducting inspections, taking milk samples for testing and verification; strengthens inspections and supervision of the implementation of regulations on ensuring hygiene and safety in schools.
