Ms. Bui Thi Ly, President of the Women's Union of Bac Ha district, said that this year's contest has many innovations. The Organizing Committee has designed the contest content in an open way, creating conditions for members of the community communication team at the grassroots level to apply their trained skills to solve urgent local issues related to women and children such as: Prejudice and gender stereotypes in the family and community; harmful cultural practices, urgent social issues (domestic violence, human trafficking, child marriage, fraud on social networks) ...
According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee and the Jury, the teams all had elaborate and thorough preparations, especially the situation handling competition in the form of dramatization, which the teams integrated and linked with practical content at the grassroots level, associated with the work of community media teams.
Meanwhile, the presentation round not only demonstrated the teams' understanding of legal regulations and policies on women and children, but also demonstrated their persuasive speaking and presentation skills, which are essential factors contributing to improving the capacity of community communication teams in response to the requirements of Project 8's innovative activities. The teams also applied information technology in designing lively and engaging presentations.
