A data center project and a submarine fiber optic cable project have just been approved by the Ba Ria - Vung Tau provincial government to survey the location to develop an investment plan.

Accordingly, the Digital Hub Data Center project has a total investment of up to 35,000 billion VND, built according to global standards for data center design. This center is expected to be built in Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Built on an area of 100 hectares, Digital Hub is expected to include 5 data center buildings (Data Center Hall). The total capacity of each Data Center Hall is 20MW. The total capacity of all 5 DC Halls is up to 6,000 equipment cabinets (racks) with an average capacity of 15kW/rack.
In addition to safety and security standards, the data center is also built with a disaster prevention and recovery system to protect and restore data operations in emergency situations, ensuring continuity and stability under all conditions.
Digital Hub is considered a key project and an important step in information technology development in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in particular and Vietnam in general.
In parallel with the implementation of the Digital Hub project, the submarine fiber optic cable project will also be built, with the main task of serving the data transmission and storage of the Digital Hub Center.
The project is expected to play an important role in the digital infrastructure, regional and international data transmission infrastructure, ensuring network safety and backup, ensuring the quality of Internet services and other international connection services as well as national information security.
It is expected that when put into operation, these projects will not only serve the specific needs of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, creating a "boost" for the local economy, but also contribute to helping Vietnam grow strongly in the field of information technology.
