Almost all students of class B (Math, Chemistry, Biology) of Le Thanh Tong private boarding school are admitted to the largest medical schools in the South.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Long, homeroom teacher of class 12B1, said that the class has 39 students, 24 of whom passed the entrance exam to Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the remaining 11 to Pham Ngoc Thach Medical School, and three to Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Another class of the school, 12B2, had an average score of 27.48 for group B - the highest among the three classes in this group. Of these, 28 students chose Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, 5 students went to Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and the remaining three students went to Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Faculty of Medicine - Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Of the 38 students in class 12B3, 20 entered Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy. 11 students entered Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the rest studied Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and one student entered Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences. The average score for the B block exam of the class was 27.07.
Teachers said that more than 95% of the candidates who passed the medical school entrance exam in these three classes chose Medicine or Dentistry, some chose Pharmacy or Medical Testing.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Vu, homeroom teacher of class 12B3, said that this achievement has been maintained for many years with the school's B-classes. When choosing to join this class, students all have a good foundation and are oriented towards the medical field.
Compared to classes A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) or A01 (Math, Physics, English), the workload and intensity of classes B are heavier.
"Most of the students choose Medicine and Dentistry, the benchmark is always very high, so their academic performance and study intensity are twice as high as other students in other classes," said Mr. Vu.
Each class has groups of students with different abilities, teachers must have separate strategies for the top and bottom groups of students to motivate them to achieve good results.

As a private boarding school, in addition to studying twice a day, students also have evening classes from 6-10pm, except on Saturdays and Sundays. Students are not allowed to use cell phones at school. When they need to make a call, they use the school's phone system or borrow one from their homeroom teacher.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Long said that the school teaches according to the curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training, but interspersed with advanced study hours and practice solving questions from the beginning of grade 12. The level of difficulty of knowledge gradually increases to improve students' abilities. In addition to studying, students still have time to exercise, play, and sing to relieve stress.
Le Thanh Tong Secondary School, part of the Nguyen Khuyen Private Education System, is famous for its disciplined learning environment, with 100% of its students graduating from high school and passing university entrance exams with high scores.
