Yesterday (June 15), Arsenal sent the first offer to buy Declan Rice worth 80 million pounds, plus 10 million pounds in additional fees. However, West Ham immediately rejected it.

According to Sky Sports , the Emirates team will return immediately with a new price of about 100 million pounds.

The Hammers also asked the partner to pay for this transfer in two installments, with the deadline to complete before 2025.

According to British media, Arsenal could offer Emile Smith Rowe or Nketiah as part of a player exchange.

Declan Rice is the number one target of the Gunners this summer. Although Man City "jumped into the fight", Arsenal is confident of winning.

Rice himself also has his heart set on the Emirates Stadium, because he wants to play in the Champions League, without disturbing his living environment in London.

However, West Ham are demanding a large sum upfront, while Arsenal are hoping for a payment period of between two and four years.

In addition to Declan Rice, Arsenal also offered to buy striker Kai Havertz, currently valued at 70 million pounds by Chelsea.

The Guardian newspaper warned Arsenal that they could be "blown away" by Pep Guardiola's team in this deal, just like their spectacular breakthrough in the recent Premier League title.

Declan Rice is said to prefer to stay in London but interest from Man City could “complicate the situation” and is predicted to “blow away” Arsenal, if they do want the England international.
