Apple Intelligence is bringing new ways to help users improve their writing skills and communicate more effectively. With the all-new Writing Tools built into iOS 18, users can rewrite, proofread, and summarize text virtually anywhere they write, including Mail, Notes, Pages, and third-party apps.

Apple Intelligence will be available as a free update to all supported devices, Apple announced today. The first beta will be available on iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, but the device language must be set to US English.

Apple Intelligence is also planning to add localized English support in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK in December.

And by 2025, the new AI feature set will expand to more language platforms, including Vietnamese.

Accordingly, it is likely that virtual assistant Siri will also support Vietnamese. In addition to direct commands on the company's phones, tablets, and laptops, Siri also allows Vietnamese people to control smart home devices with the Homekit platform in their native language.

Devices on the supported list include: iPhone 16 Series, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and Mac with M1 chip or later.
