TPO – In a series of events to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Ly Tu Trong's birth, Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Executive Committee, and the working delegation came to offer incense and flowers at the Dong Loc T-junction relic site, the memorial site, and Ly Tu Trong's church, and visited and presented gifts to the relatives of the first communist youth union member.

On the afternoon of October 20, Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth, and the delegation came to offer incense and flowers at the Dong Loc T-junction relic site and the Ly Tu Trong Memorial Site (Ha Tinh province). Accompanying him were Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, former First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Honorary President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Ms. Dinh Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association. On the Ha Tinh side, there was Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, Hoang Trung Dung.

At the Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site (Can Loc District), the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense, expressing their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy stands next to a star fruit tree grafted from the mother tree planted by Uncle Ho in Ban May, NaKhonPhaNom province (Thailand) - the birthplace of Ly Tu Trong, which was brought back by the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union to plant in 2003.

The memorial area of ​​Ly Tu Trong has a total area of ​​nearly 5 hectares, located right next to Cau Song River, in Tan Long village, Viet Tien commune, Thach Ha district (Ha Tinh). In 2011, the remains of Hero Ly Tu Trong were found in Ho Chi Minh City and then transferred to his hometown Ha Tinh. The place where he rests has now been built into a sacred and solemn memorial area.
