On December 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen in collaboration with the Provincial Tourism Association organized a Food Festival with the theme: "Experience the land of Tea, rich in identity".
The festival aims to exploit and introduce traditional dishes associated with tea products, creating unique and characteristic culinary products of Thai Nguyen province.

The Festival is attended by 38 teams, with 130 chefs, folk artists, culinary experts, and food processing staff at tourism businesses, restaurants, catering services, hotels, motels, homestays, and tourist areas and attractions inside and outside the province.
The festival introduces to the people and tourists 153 unique dishes, 100% of which are associated with tea and tea products.
According to the Organizing Committee: Thai Nguyen is the first province in the country to organize a culinary festival with all the dishes on display having ingredients from tea trees. This is one of the meaningful activities contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional culinary cultural values, enriching tourism products to introduce and promote to a large number of domestic and international tourists.
