If the short story Doraemon takes place on Nobita's home street, school and a few other locations, the long story leads readers to distant lands, tinged with fantasy.
It could be prehistoric times hundreds of millions of years ago, the underground world, the kingdom of clouds, the city of stuffed animals, the kingdom of wind or the land of a thousand and one nights...
Nobita's group of friends go to strange lands, join adventurous trips, thrilling journeys, with new friends, and magical treasures.
With intelligence and courage, Nobita and his friends helped good people fight against dark forces, protect the territory, and bring peace and joy to everyone.
Through the stories, the author conveys messages of environmental protection, lessons of teamwork and courage, while also inspiring imagination and nurturing childhood dreams.
