The launch of the new AI tool is a breakthrough for e-commerce giant Alibaba to not fall behind its competitors. |
Aidge stands for “AI for Digital and Global Business.” The AI tool aims to streamline operations for businesses by leveraging Alibaba International’s deep expertise in global e-commerce.
With a focus on improving business efficiency and reducing costs, Aidge aims to revolutionize the way businesses operate on a global scale.
By leveraging large language models and proprietary computer vision models from Alibaba International, Aidge is expected to bring unprecedented efficiency to global commerce.
During the pilot testing phase, Alibaba International plans to work with software-as-a-service (SaaS) partners and independent service providers (ISVs) for testing.
“Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face various challenges when engaging in global trade, such as language barriers, high marketing costs, and talent shortages,” said Kaifu Zhang, vice president of Alibaba International. “Aidge will streamline global trade operations for SMEs by addressing their key issues. Our goal is to enable businesses to operate more efficiently.”
According to Alibaba International's internal test results report, Aidge has proven to significantly increase order conversion, consumer satisfaction, and time efficiency for SMEs.
The data collected confirms the effectiveness of this new AI tool in delivering positive results for business operations. By leveraging Aidge’s multilingual capabilities and advanced AI agents, businesses can overcome language barriers and optimize their operations.
Aidge has now found a partner in South Asian e-commerce platform Daraz, which is experimenting with the AI engine and plans to enhance Daraz’s instant messaging feature with the AI engine.
Alibaba International is committed to deploying Aidge’s services to sellers on its e-commerce platform. In addition, they are actively seeking collaborations with other partners such as SaaS and ISVs to expand Aidge’s reach to more SMEs.
Alibaba International is currently an e-commerce portal owned by Alibaba Group, specializing in transactions between the world's largest businesses, with 2.5 million customers from more than 200 countries registered to use and more than 500,000 people accessing this site every day.
