The goal is to help reduce logistics costs from 16.8 - 17% of GDP to near the world average (10.6%).

"Logistics is the driving force in the growth process, so that Ho Chi Minh City can exploit the transportation corridor and advantages to become a major logistics center in the region. Can Gio international transit port, ring roads 3 and 4, urban railway and a series of projects to be deployed in the coming time have demonstrated the city's determination in building infrastructure as a foundation for logistics development," said Mr. Vu.

Ms. Ho Thi Thu Hoa, Director of the Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute, said that currently about 62% of logistics enterprises have implemented digital transformation, more than 24% are planning to implement it, while the rest are not yet ready to enter this process.
