Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Agribank, there were Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Director of Agribank Staff Training School; Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh - Deputy Head of Agribank Communications Department. On behalf of the Banking Academy, there were Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh - Deputy Director in charge of the Board of Directors of the Banking Academy along with representatives of staff, lecturers and students of the Banking Academy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh - Deputy Director in charge of the Board of Directors of the Banking Academy expressed her thanks to Agribank for awarding meaningful scholarships to students of the Banking Academy, helping them have more motivation to study, practice and develop their future.
Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh said that implementing the comprehensive cooperation agreement between Agribank and the Banking Academy on awarding scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year to students and based on the agreed criteria, the Banking Academy organized the review of applications, selecting 45 students with excellent achievements in study and movement, 15 students with difficult circumstances who have made efforts in studying, with a total scholarship value of 300 million VND.
“Today’s program is a clear demonstration of the close and comprehensive cooperative relationship between Agribank and the Banking Academy. In addition to supporting scholarships for students, Agribank has been spending a lot of social security expenses on the Banking Academy. This is also the basis for supporting the Banking Academy to train the best human resources in the past and in the future,” said Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh.
At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Director of Agribank Staff Training School congratulated the students with excellent achievements who won Agribank scholarships. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha affirmed that Agribank always considers charity and social security as important tasks alongside business activities. In particular, sponsorship activities for the education and training sector have always received special attention from Agribank's Board of Directors. With the mission of accompanying education, Agribank has been constantly contributing to the development of the young generation of Vietnam - the future owners of the country. Accompanying Agribank are schools, academies, and educational organizations nationwide, including the Banking Academy.
“Agribank is pleased to award 60 scholarships worth a total of 300 million VND to students of the Banking Academy who have achieved excellent results in the 2024-2025 school year. Among them are many students from disadvantaged families who have overcome difficulties to achieve high academic results.
This is not only a reward recognizing the students' efforts, perseverance, overcoming difficulties and spirit of continuous learning, but also a great source of encouragement for them to continue to strive and overcome challenges on the path to conquering knowledge.
