It is known that this ao dai with a purely Vietnamese idea was designed by designer Tuan Hai. According to designer Tuan Hai, the outfit is designed in 3D, the body of the dress is embroidered with a winding golden dragon image. This pattern makes the dress shine and catch the light on stage.
The stylized cloak from the image of the Ngoc Lu bronze drum creates a heroic and powerful image. The wearer shows the majesty, elegance and immense power in the general's temperament. And the color is the color that matches Thien Kha's feng shui.
Designer Tuan Hai, the creator of the costume, said: "When I accepted the invitation to design the national costume for Nguyen Thien Kha, I spent many nights thinking and learning about the competition criteria. From there, I came up with the idea of finding something unique and different from previous competitions.
To create a national costume, carrying a purely Vietnamese symbol for Nguyen Thien Kha, I myself also consulted historical knowledge from the Hung King era to create a fashion work that is artistic, but still promotes Vietnamese culture.
"Mister Cosmopolitan 2023 - Mister International 2023" is a contest that promotes friendship, honors the connection between countries, cultures, and high awareness of protecting the living environment ecosystem while introducing and promoting tourism.
The competition also focuses on promoting modern young men who adapt to the environment quickly but still maintain their character, composure and philosophy.
Sharing about the national costume brought to the "Mister Cosmopolitan 2023" arena, Nguyen Thien Kha confided: "I feel proud to receive this special design by designer Tuan Hai. Nguyen Thien Kha was specifically selected and invited to participate by the Chairman of the Mister Cosmopolitan 2023 contest, through the national director of Mister Cosmopolitan Vietnam 2023.
Nguyen Thien Kha was born in 2000 and grew up in Hai Duong. Once a professional fitness trainer, the Hai Duong native has a toned body and muscular six-pack abs.
Nguyen Thien Kha participated in the Mister Pancontinental International 2023 contest and won the first runner-up position. He is a familiar face on many fashion runways. The Mister Cosmopolitan 2023 contest took place from October 2 to 8 in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
