600 audiences were scammed when buying tickets to Taylor Swift show

About 600 people have been defrauded of more than a million pounds in an attempt to buy tickets to Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour concert series.

According to The Guardian , Lloyds Bank in the UK reported that more than 600 customers reported being scammed when buying tickets to see Taylor Swift shows - more than any other artist. On average, each audience member lost £332 (VND 10.5 million), some cases up to more than £1,000 (VND 31.6 million).

90% of the victims bought tickets from unknown Facebook accounts. The victims targeted loyal fans who were eager to see Taylor Swift, then tricked them into transferring money but not returning the tickets. The number of people who fell into the trap across the UK could be as high as 3,000.

Lloyds said the problem has increased recently because Taylor Swift will restart The Eras Tour in Europe next May after a two-month break. In the UK, the American superstar will hold 15 shows, including eight at Wembley Stadium - London, setting a record for the most concerts by a female singer in one tour there. The unit recommends buying tickets only from authorized platforms, such as AXS, Ticketmaster.
