Microsoft officially announced the commercial version of the Windows 9x series computer operating system called Windows 95 in 1995, according to Slash Gear.
Over the past 30 years, many features on Windows 95 have been replaced by new features in subsequent versions. However, the following 5 "legendary" features are still retained in the latest version, Windows 11, and will even continue to appear in future versions.
Start button

The Start button is considered one of the typical features of Windows interface design and it is usually located in the lower left corner of the computer screen.
The Start button is especially useful for first-time Windows users. When users do not know where to start, they just need to hover the mouse over the Start button and they will be guided.
The Start button's Menu contains a list of programs, quick access to document files, settings categories, search features, and user support items to learn about computer features...

The Taskbar from Windows 95 onwards is a grey bar that appears in the lower corner of the screen. It contains the Start button, the system clock, and the taskbar tabs of the currently active windows and programs.
Every time a user opens a new program or file, a rectangular icon will appear in the Taskbar so they can click on it. This will immediately call that window to the top of the screen, saving time and searching.
Plug and Play

From Windows 95 to the present, users can plug peripheral devices into the correct port on their personal computer (PC) and Windows will automatically recognize and reconfigure them to the correct standard. This feature is simply called "Plug and Play".
Plug and Play was initially unstable due to the lack of uniformity in hardware and software standards. Nearly 30 years later, this is no longer an issue.
Recycle Bin

Windows first introduced a new trash bin called the Recycle Bin in 1995, and it has remained with Microsoft to this day. The Recycle Bin acts as a temporary file, allowing users to review files in the trash before deleting them completely.
Long file names
Windows 95 was designed to allow long file names, instead of the 8 character maximum of previous versions.
This change allows file names to be up to 255 characters long, and the extension format is also longer.
Although it's a small change, it's useful for clear naming and supporting longer extensions like JPEG or HTML.
