This afternoon (October 10), according to the feedback of some parents and students of Le Quy Don High School (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City), after the meal at the school cafeteria, some students showed signs of discomfort and vomiting. Some of them had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
A student said that around 3 p.m., a classmate showed signs of discomfort, vomiting, and convulsions and was taken to an ambulance by medical staff. This student said that he had lunch at the cafeteria with grilled pork noodles.

Confirming with Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter, a leader of Saigon Hospital confirmed that this afternoon, the hospital received 5 students from Le Quy Don High School (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) with symptoms of food poisoning.
Accordingly, when admitted to the hospital emergency room, the student said he had lunch at school and vomited.
The doctor said the hospital had performed tests, taken samples, rehydrated and administered intestinal antibiotics to the student.
Currently, according to the leader of Saigon Hospital, 5 students from Le Quy Don High School are still being treated at the hospital for "electrolyte rehydration and antibiotics because tests showed signs of infection".
This incident has parents and students worried about the school's lunches. "The school needs to quickly investigate and come up with solutions to ensure food safety for students," a parent of a student at the school shared.
