On the morning of May 24, in Hai Duong, the Office of the Project to improve the capacity of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Political Schools of provinces and centrally-run cities in the period 2019-2030 (Project 587) in collaboration with the Hai Duong Provincial Political School opened a training course on Marxist-Leninist classics and Ho Chi Minh's ideology KD24.05.
Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department attend the opening ceremony.
49 students participating in the course are officers and lecturers from the Political School of the provinces: Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Bac Giang and Hai Phong City.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, affirmed that studying the classic works of Marx and Lenin is both an inherent and compulsory task to help lecturers and learners access the system of "original theories", clarifying the principles and viewpoints mentioned by the classics. This contributes to improving the quality of research, teaching of political theory and theoretical work.
With the knowledge acquired, students need to summarize practice, promote theoretical research in a systematic and methodical manner; draw lessons from experience, and set requirements for improving the effectiveness of research and study of classic works of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought.
Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Trung Y emphasized that the classic knowledge training class is an opportunity for students to study more deeply the knowledge in 40 works (27 classic works by C. Marx and F. Engels, by Lenin on philosophy, economics, scientific socialism, Party building; 11 classic works by President Ho Chi Minh; 2 classic works of the Party) directly taught and exchanged by scientists, prestigious and experienced lecturers of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
Each student must comply with the discipline of the class, strictly abide by the classroom rules and regulations of the Academy; actively and enthusiastically exchange, discuss and debate in learning and research to achieve the best results from the training course.
The course on Marxist-Leninist classics and Ho Chi Minh ideology, KĐ24.05, will take place from now until November 9. Students will study every weekend.
At the end of the course, students choose one work or combine content from several works to write a graduation essay.
