34 educational institutions are recruiting more than 3,300 additional 10th grade students.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just assigned an additional 3,339 enrollment quotas for grade 10 for the 2023-2024 school year to 34 educational institutions in the capital.

Accordingly, Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong has just signed Decision No. 1234/QD-SGDĐT, assigning enrollment targets for grade 10 in the 2023-2024 school year to 34 educational institutions to recruit 72 additional classes with a total target of 3,339 grade 10 students.

Specifically: 27 high schools were assigned to add 65 classes with 2,934 students. Of which, some high schools were assigned to add a large number of classes such as: Hoang Mai increased 7 classes; May (formerly Phuong Nam) increased 5 classes; Phan Boi Chau, Ly Thai To, Van Hien, Einstein, Newton increased 4 classes each campus; Doan Thi Diem, Ta Quang Buu, An Duong Vuong, Ha Thanh, Le Ngoc Han increased 3 classes each campus...

In addition, the Department also adjusted the enrollment quota for grade 10 for a number of Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers in the districts: Ba Vi, Dan Phuong, Thach That, Phu Xuyen, Gia Lam and Phan Huy Chu - Dong Da High School, Tran Quoc Tuan Secondary - High School with a total quota of 7 classes with 405 students.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires school principals to be responsible for organizing enrollment according to assigned quotas, in accordance with enrollment regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

* Hanoi Department of Education and Training also issued Notice No. 2534/TB-SGDĐT adjusting and supplementing the cultural study quota of the high school continuing education program for two colleges: Long Bien Vocational College increased one class with 65 students and Hanoi Industrial Vocational College increased one class with 50 students.

The target students of these institutions are students who have completed secondary school in 30 districts, towns and cities of Hanoi. The training method is vocational education at intermediate level combined with cultural studies of the regular high school education program.

Students studying the regular high school education program who meet the requirements according to regulations are eligible to register to take the high school graduation exam.
