Three universities: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, FPT will start recruiting from mid-January.


Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance is considering early admission scholarships for 12th graders with good academic results, from January 15 to May 31.

Specifically, candidates submit their application using the first semester grade 12 scores of three subjects in the admission combination. If the total score of three subjects is from 21-25, candidates will receive a scholarship worth 25% of one year's tuition; achieving 25-28.5 points corresponds to a 50% scholarship; from 28.5 points or more, they have the opportunity to receive a 100% scholarship.

In addition, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance considers scholarships based on the 12th grade high school transcript score (from 21 points or higher), the 2025 high school graduation exam score (from 21 points or higher), and the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment score (from 840 points or higher). Regarding the English requirement, candidates with an IELTS certificate of 5.5 or higher have the opportunity to receive a scholarship of 25-100% of tuition fees.

In addition to scholarship policies in 2025, the school will stabilize tuition fees for the entire 4-year course for students in the next semester, about 80 million VND/year.

In 2024, the benchmark score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance is from 16 to 21, the highest is International Relations. The following majors are International Economics and International Finance, both with 20 points. The majors of International Business, International Law, Logistics and Supply Chain Management have an input score of 19, the rest from 16 to 18 points.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology is considering awarding a 25% tuition scholarship for all students with an average score of 20 points or higher in 3 subjects in the first semester of grade 12. The school accepts scholarship applications from January 15 to May 31 online at the school's website.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Anh, Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, said that after applying the scholarship policy, the tuition fees for new students of the 2025 class are as follows: Bachelor's degrees (3.5 years, 14 semesters) 11 million VND/semester; Engineering degrees (4 years, 16 semesters) 10 million VND/semester; Specialized degrees (Architecture, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine - 4.5 years, 18 semesters) 12 million VND/semester.

The school is committed to a transparent, public tuition policy that does not increase throughout the school years, helping to reduce financial pressure.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology enrolls 61 diverse majors in the following fields: Engineering - Technology, Economics - Management, Marketing - Communication, Architecture - Fine Arts, Music - Arts, Health - Sports, Social Sciences - Humanities, Law - Foreign Languages.

FPT University began accepting applications for scholarships, "study now - pay later" programs and admissions from January 20.

Not only that, this university also announced the admission scores for 2025. The admission scores are based on two criteria: candidates need to reach the top 50 schoolrank, which means being in the top 50% of students with the highest high school academic results nationwide; achieve a total score of 21 points or higher in math and any two subjects in the second semester of grade 12.

Candidates can go to FPT University's SchoolRank page, enter the total scores of grade 11 subjects and semester I grade 12 in the transcript to look up the ranking.

Once the score entry is completed, the system will classify students into the top 50, 40, 30, 20 and 10 groups (respectively 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% of students with the best high school academic results nationwide) or outside the top 50 according to the candidates' academic results.
