On the afternoon of June 27th, over 1 million students nationwide completed their Mathematics exam.
Regarding the Mathematics exam in the 2024 High School Graduation Examination, the Ministry of Education and Training stated that the total number of registered candidates for the Mathematics exam was 1,050,224; the total number of candidates who actually took the exam was 1,046,156, achieving a participation rate of 99.61%.
The total number of examination centers nationwide is 2,323, and the total number of examination rooms is 44,775.
There were 3 candidates who violated exam regulations (1 reprimanded, 2 suspended), a lower number than in 2023 (4 candidates suspended). No exam officials violated regulations during this afternoon's exam session.
Overall, this afternoon's math exam proceeded safely, orderly, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
Tomorrow morning (June 28th), candidates will continue taking the Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education ) combined exams starting at 7:35 AM, with 50 minutes allocated for each subject. In the afternoon of the same day, candidates will take the Foreign Language exam, lasting 60 minutes and starting at 2:30 PM.
