Maintain the top position
As a university with strengths in information technology training with many talented IT experts, the school always creates a rare learning environment for IT students to freely realize the boldest ideas. The outstanding capacity of IT students has been affirmed and reached the peak with special awards in 2024, including:
Special prize, first prize, second prize, and Creative Idea prize at the national "ROBOG 2024" competition taking place on September 22, 2024, and become Vietnam's representative to attend the world finals taking place in February 2025 in China.
This is a large-scale programming and robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technology development competition, attracting the participation of students from many universities across the country with strengths in information technology training, as well as research and manufacturing of robots.
First prize in the “Innovation Tech Challenge 2024” Science and Technology Innovation Competition organized by Samsung Vietnam in collaboration with the Successful Youth Organization on August 29, 2024. This is the second time that the school’s students have won the highest prize in the competition, as in 2023, the school’s students also won both first and second prizes.
Making a mark in the field of information technology, the school's students brought home first prize in the open source software competition at the 33rd Vietnam Student Informatics Olympiad held on December 13, 2024.
Duy Tan students have created the Green Hope application that applies Blockchain technology to make donation transactions for disaster relief transparent, and also uses AI to analyze videos to help search for victims.

Outstanding game designs
This year, two female students of the school won the “2024 National Graphic Design and Game Programming Talent Search” contest with first and second prizes in Game Graphic Design. The contest was organized by the Korean Embassy, the Korea Tourism Organization, Jeju Air, Hanoi National University and many other organizations.

The first prize-winning game “The Flavors' Odyssey” by student Ngo Thi Phuong Thao was designed based on the inspiration of the culinary cultural exchange between Korea and Vietnam, focusing on kimchi and the journey to protect the balance in the culinary world.

Most recently, the product " Active prosthetic leg " of the school's students has been developed with the extremely meaningful goal of giving Vietnamese people with disabilities the opportunity to access a high-quality product at a low price.
“Active Prosthetic Leg” won first prize at ASEAN Green Startup Hackathon 2024 – UK: DHDT
The feasibility and superiority of the product helped the "Active Prosthetic Leg" of the FLEXILEG team, Duy Tan University, surpass 29 competing teams from countries in the ASEAN region, and win first prize in the ASEAN Green Entrepreneurship Hackathon 2024.

This achievement of the students has affirmed the right direction in developing a 'Startup University' of Duy Tan University. The product 'Active prosthetic leg' demonstrates the creativity, humanistic meaning, and practical application of the mechanical engineering industry in human life.
Many awards at home and abroad
With their excellence in running a business in an ERP simulation environment, the school's DongRy Corporation team became this year's champion with an absolute victory at SAP ERPsim Student Competition 2024 - Vietnam, and officially won the ticket to represent Vietnam to attend SAP ERPsim Asia - Pacific 2025.

With careful preparation, sharp strategy and excellent team spirit, Duy Tan University's team overcame strong opponents across the country to win first place, marking an important milestone as the first time a team from the Central region won the highest position in this prestigious competition.
DTU's architecture and construction industry is always ranked very high in world rankings, typically ranked 151-200 in the world according to QS World Rankings by Subjects 2024, along with major awards from DTU students, specifically in 2024:
The graduation project of Duy Tan University's construction students won the second prize - also the highest award this year awarded to the Engineering - Technology block (no first prize) directly judged by the Construction Association at the Loa Thanh Award 2024. The project " Hospital Complex - Luxury Apartments - Education " was implemented based on the preliminary architectural design by the Da Nang City Planning Institute in the stage of completing the 1/500 scale planning on a land area of up to 21,311m², completely meeting the requirements of practice.
Duy Tan students won 1 all-around prize, 1 second prize and 4 third prizes in various competitions of the 14th National Architecture Student Festival in 2024.

The first prize in the category “Technological topics and solutions in processing” at the final round of the “Post-harvest processing technology” contest 2024 went to Duy Tan students with the product “ Artistic blooming tea from blue lotus ”. This is an extremely necessary product in the current period when the need to use products that are good for health, especially herbal tea to support sleep and reduce “stress” is becoming more and more popular, especially among young people who are often under pressure from work and study.

6 female students with Gen Z spirit at Duy Tan University have researched and created a highly appreciated product with an advanced production process so that when the tea blooms, it will create a beautiful image right in the teapot, preserving the nutritional value while ensuring food hygiene and safety.
