To prove their innocence, the two girls also agreed to let their family members search their belongings and repeatedly asked people not to step over their makeup.
After the clip was shared on social media, more than 17,000 people viewed, commented and shared it, many of whom were outraged.
The two girls also suggested calling the police to resolve the matter, but the family refused on the grounds that they were having a wedding and did not want to cause any noise.
However, the incident reached its climax when the groom’s family asked the two girls to strip down so they could search them, and even threatened to beat them up. The girl burst into tears, but they still stripped down so the groom’s family could check them.
After nearly 30 minutes of searching but not finding any money, some of the groom's family members came in to apologize to the two girls. The groom's mother also came down to apologize, hoping to be forgiven. However, she gave the excuse that the search was due to the drunken person not knowing what was going on.
The two girls did not accept and said they would wait for the owner of the bridal dress and makeup shop to come down to resolve the matter clearly.
