120 foreign university scholarships for students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics

Students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics participate in international study exchange program

Information from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) said Students of the school are selected to study in France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Sweden, China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan - China from July 2024 to August 2025, according to 2 groups of programs: short-term exchange programs in the form of project implementation or some subjects (less than 30 days) and long-term exchange programs equivalent to 1 semester of study.

Among them, some leading partner universities accepting students are: Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Blekinge Institute of Technology (Sweden), Le CNAME University (France), Hasselt University (Belgium), Seoul University (Korea), Fukuoka Women's University (Japan), Kaohsiung National University (Taiwan - China)...

By participating in the program, students have access to and experience learning advanced education systems with local lecturers and students; expanding connections with many different cultures. This is an opportunity to increase competitiveness after graduation, expanding job opportunities with international employers. After completing and meeting the requirements of the international course and semester, students are considered for converting points to equivalent credits in the major/specialization they are studying at UEH.

Professor and Doctor Su Dinh Thanh, Director of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, said that in order to create equal opportunities for all students with different circumstances, UEH has proactively discussed with partner universities to grant full scholarships, partial scholarships to support a part of living expenses and free tuition for the course. At the same time, it creates preferential conditions to convert the study encouragement scholarship into a part of the cost of participating in this program for excellent students who receive this scholarship and wish to exchange internationally. UEH also gives the opportunity to consider the remaining places for students who do not receive the study encouragement scholarship. If the criteria of the exchange program are met, the application will be sent to the relevant faculties/institutes and schools for consideration.

According to Professor Su Dinh Thanh, implementing the multidisciplinary and sustainable university strategy, UEH students are oriented to become citizens capable of studying and working globally, acting for sustainable development. To achieve this goal, UEH pioneers in building an internationally oriented education. The international student exchange program is one of those efforts.
