At the end of the competition day yesterday, January 13, the qualifying round of the Southwest region determined the 4 teams that qualified for the semi-finals: Can Tho University (first place in group 1), Cuu Long University (second place in group 1), Tra Vinh University (first place in group 2), Vinh Long University of Technical Education (second place in group 2).
According to the regulations, the first team in group 1, Nam Can Tho University, will meet the second team in group 2, Vinh Long University of Technical Education, in the first semi-final. The second semi-final will be between Tra Vinh University and Cuu Long University. The two winning teams will enter the final round to choose the champion team to win a ticket to the final round in Ho Chi Minh City.

Also today, the final round of the group stage of the South Central - Central Highlands region will take place with two matches between Quy Nhon University and Thai Binh Duong University; Khanh Hoa University and Nha Trang University.
