The Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges has just issued a decision on the establishment of the Vietnam University Education Quality Assurance Network Club. Club members are universities and colleges, organizations/enterprises interested in the activities of the Club, experts and scientists...
The club was established with the goal of building and developing a system to ensure the educational quality of higher education institutions, including activities such as enrollment, program and curriculum development, innovation in teaching methods and technology, scientific research... to promote the influence of advantageous schools, support disadvantaged schools, and contribute to improving the quality of higher education in Vietnam.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc, Chairman of the University Council of the University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), was elected as the Club's chairman. The Club's interim board of directors includes leaders of 12 universities in the North, Central and South.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc shared: "One of the directions of the Club's activities is to base on and closely follow the program on Developing the system of ensuring and assessing educational quality for university and college education in the period of 2022-2030 issued by the Prime Minister in 2022 with the goal of meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, meeting the ASEAN quality assurance framework, contributing significantly to promoting university autonomy and improving quality".
In addition, according to Dr. Tran Viet Anh, Vice Principal of Hung Vuong University (member of the interim board of directors), the Club will coordinate with university education institutions, research centers/institutes to conduct joint research and organize scientific seminars on issues related to quality assurance.
"Among many important contents, issues such as applying modern technology and artificial intelligence, promoting STEM in university education, sharing resources and learning materials; supporting and creating job opportunities for graduates... will also be focused on," Dr. Viet Anh added.
It is expected that in December, the Vietnam University Education Quality Assurance Network Club will hold a launching ceremony and announce the action plan for next year.
