The vehicle still uses a BlueCore engine, single cylinder, air-cooled, Euro 4 emission standard, 125cc capacity. This engine is combined with an EFI electronic fuel injection system, providing a maximum capacity of 9.4 horsepower at 8,000 rpm, maximum torque of 9.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The power transmission system from the engine to the rear wheel is through a clutch and automatic clock system, with a standard V-belt for scooters.
Weighing in at 96kg, the 773mm seat height makes for easy access, while the 4.2-litre fuel tank ensures longer ranges between refuelling. Under the seat, a 14-litre storage compartment is large enough to hold a full-face helmet.
The braking system of Yamaha Ego Avantiz includes a single hydraulic disc brake in the front and a drum brake in the rear, ensuring safety when moving. The suspension system includes a front telescopic fork and a rear monoshock, helping the vehicle operate smoothly on many terrains. 14-inch wheel rims with tire sizes 70/90 in the front and 90/80 in the rear, increasing traction and stability when driving.
The new 2024 Yamaha Ego Avantiz has been updated by the manufacturer with three new color versions in the Malaysian market. These are colors such as Sky Blue, Black Blue and Purple. Despite the new color, the Ego Avantiz still maintains the same price as the 2023 version, with a listed price of RM 5,998 (about VND 32.46 million).
