The moment the principal led the female student with cerebral palsy onto the stage to receive her diploma moved everyone who saw it to tears.

At first, the female student did not plan to attend the graduation ceremony because she was afraid of the difficulties of going to a crowded place. After being encouraged by the school's Youth Union Secretary, Mai Anh made an effort to be present at the hall early. Unable to use the escalator, she asked her parents to help her move up the stairs. Although each step was difficult, she felt proud because her efforts over the past 4 years had finally "received sweet fruit".

Mai Anh is a former student of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted. Before taking the university entrance exam, someone advised her to "don't take the exam, just open a shop and do business". Mai Anh ignored them and proved herself with a score of 26.75, passing the entrance exam to Hanoi Law University.

Throughout her time at school, Mai Anh has constantly strived to achieve her goals. Many times Mai Anh was tormented by pain that made her numb, but she refused to give up. The female student believes that when she has enough faith in the path she has chosen, no matter how difficult it is, she will pursue it to the end.

Family, teachers and friends are also a great source of motivation for the girl from Phu Tho. This female student was considered for early graduation in April and is currently interning at a law firm in Hanoi. In addition, she spends 2 extra English classes and 2 therapy sessions each week. In the near future, Mai Anh will take an additional law class at the Judicial Academy on weekends so that she can soon reach her dream of becoming a "judge", contributing to building a better society.

Witnessing the moment her child received her university diploma, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hao, Mai Anh's mother, could not hide her emotions. " The family has gone through many difficult journeys with her to get to where she is today, I am truly happy and grateful. Her fate may not be lucky, but we must try so that she can have a happy and meaningful life ," she said.

Mai Anh was radiant on her college graduation day.

More than 20 years ago, Ms. Hao and her husband happily welcomed their first set of twins, Mai Anh and Truc Anh. She gave birth in the 7th month of pregnancy. The twins weighed only 1.6 kg and had to be kept in an incubator but showed no signs of abnormalities. Until 13 months later, when Truc Anh started walking, Mai Anh still could not stand up by herself.

Worried that her child was not well, Ms. Hao took her child to the hospital. The doctor diagnosed her child with spastic cerebral palsy. " When I received the results of my child's illness, my hands were shaking and my legs were unsteady. I felt sorry for my child who had suffered. After many years of treatment, my child's physical strength was still weaker than that of his friends. Although he was sick, his awareness was very good, he had personality and knew how to defend his own views. That was also the reason why he pursued his dream of becoming a lawyer ," the female parent said.

The moment Mai Anh was led by the principal to receive her university diploma was still being shared and commented on emotionally by netizens.

"That's great, I wish you continued success like that, life is always open to those who try hard like you, " wrote Hoang Ha.

" Congratulations and thank you. You are a shining example that inspires me about the power of will and the sweet fruit of effort. In fact, many times looking at extraordinary people like you has pulled me back on track in the face of misfortune to continue moving forward, contributing a beautiful piece to life," user Khanh Dang commented.

" I admire you so much, I wish you good luck. I would like to take a minute to feel ashamed of myself and remind myself to try harder," Thanh Kieu admitted.
