One of the videos recording images suspected to be the sixth-generation fighter was reposted on the Sina Weibo page of Naval & Merchant Ships , a popular Chinese military magazine, according to Sputnik News today, March 19.
This time, the fighter jets were filmed with their landing gear retracted, and there were no other aircraft escorting them. It is unclear when and where the new clip was filmed.
In its first appearance last December, the fighter was photographed with its landing gear down and closely followed by a J-20S fighter.

The Global Times on March 17 quoted Chinese military analyst Song Zhongping as saying that if the new images are confirmed to be real, this means the new aircraft is making good progress with flights being carried out at short intervals.
The landing gear being folded means that the flight has tested the systems associated with this part, while also checking the aircraft's aerodynamic capabilities.
The Global Times also quoted another expert, Mr. Wang Ya'nan, Editor-in-Chief of Aerospace Knowledge Magazine, as saying that the short interval between test flights and landing gear retraction showed that the developer was confident in the fighter's stability during flight.
According to Mr. Wang, the fighter is likely in the early stages of test flights.
China has yet to announce the development of its next-generation fighter jets, but there are some clues that it is happening.
On January 1, a music video posted on the Sina Weibo account of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command featured images of a ginkgo leaf and a bird, sparking speculation that the Chinese military is developing a new fighter jet.
