On the evening of August 31, singer Jack introduced a music product called "From Where I Was Born".
Messi appeared in singer Jack's MV.
This is a music product that the male singer carefully polished from the audio to the visual part.
Notably, at the press conference on the afternoon of August 31, Jack revealed that a special guest appearing in the MV was superstar Lionel Messi.
Jack said he had a short conversation with the 2022 World Cup champion and that was the inspiration to write the song "From Where I Was Born".
In May 2023, through a few introductions, Jack met his idol.
"I'm bad at English and decided to learn Spanish a few months ago for this trip. But when I met my idol, I forgot everything around me.
I can't remember what I said until now, but I remember one thing, which was the Spanish greeting: I'm honored to meet you and to be greeted like that," Jack recounted.
After returning to Vietnam, Jack made a MV with a short clip of his conversation with Messi.
However, according to some sources, the Vietnamese male singer still had to spend up to 60 billion VND for Messi's 3 seconds of appearance in the MV "From where I was born".
Jack is the first Vietnamese artist to invite a world-famous superstar to appear in his official music product.
At the event, Jack also presented a shirt signed by Messi. He said he was willing to give up the shirt and all proceeds would be donated to charity.
