Xuan Lan takes her students to participate in international fashion week in Japan

Tokyo Couture Fashion Show is an international fashion week in Japan with the participation of many famous designers and models, scheduled to take place from October 18 in Japan.

Supermodel Xuan Lan will take on the role of catwalk director for the show. At the same time, she will select suitable Vietnamese models to perform at this fashion week.

Here, generations of Vietnamese models will have the opportunity to showcase unique outfits from designers, work with many international models and professional crews.

Xuan Lan shared: "This is a great opportunity for generations of Vietnamese models to train and develop on the international stage. I and the selected models will bring to fashion-loving audiences at home and abroad beautiful photos and films, full of the spirit of high-end fashion and done meticulously and professionally."

The supermodel added that designer Tommy Tuong Le has prepared impressive costumes for this show. In addition, the program also brings a show by designer Truong Thanh Long in the red leaf forest typical of autumn in Japan.

Xuan Lan belongs to the first generation of models in the Vietnamese fashion industry. In recent years, she opened a catwalk school and devoted much of her energy to model training.

Not long ago, the supermodel launched a project including an exhibition, photo book and fashion video recording the mark of Vietnamese models of different generations through a series of fashion photos taken in major fashion capitals around the world .

Xuan Lan expressed her passion for the next generation. She commented that the current crop of models are very talented. Regarding scandals and noise in the profession, the supermodel said that this depends on each individual because: "Every profession has its temptations, we shouldn't blame the modeling profession for having scandals."

Xuan Lan was born in 1978, belonging to the first generation of models in the Vietnamese fashion industry. Besides modeling, she also acts in films and plays.

Xuan Lan has many years of experience as a judge on the show Vietnam's Next Top Model.

In her personal life, Xuan Lan has experienced many broken relationships and became a single mother at the age of 36. In January 2020, she surprised everyone when she married director Ngoc Lam.
