Fined 60 million VND for 2 gold shops in Thai Binh

Previously, in May 2024, Market Management Team No. 4 conducted a surprise inspection of a gold and silver trading store belonging to MT Gold and Silver Company Limited and DC Company Limited, both located in Diem Dien town (Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province).

As a result of the inspection, the inspection team discovered and drew up administrative violation records for the above 2 stores with the following violations: Violating the deadline for registering changes to the content of business location registration beyond the prescribed deadline of 91 days or more and not fully displaying on the signboard the name of the direct management agency and the name of the production and business establishment in accordance with the business registration certificate.

For the above violations, the Captain of Market Management Team No. 4 issued a decision to administratively fine the above two companies with a total amount of 60 million VND and forced them to take remedial measures according to the provisions of law.

In the coming time, the Market Management Force will continue to coordinate with local authorities to strengthen supervision and inspection of gold trading activities of units; at the same time, strengthen propaganda work to gold trading establishments in the area to strictly comply with regulations on gold trading management as prescribed.
