Ho Chi Minh City Lottery earned more than 11,000 billion, pre-tax profit nearly 1,700 billion VND

The audited financial report for 2022 released by Ho Chi Minh City Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. shows that in the past year, the company's sales and service revenue reached more than VND 11,000 billion, an increase of 160% over the same period (in 2021, this figure was VND 6,900 billion).

Specifically, in the sales and service revenue category, revenue from traditional lottery + scratch cards reached VND 10,794 billion (VND 6,649 billion in 2021); the rest is revenue from office rental services and revenue from printing business activities.

In 2022, the company's annual lottery business expenses were VND 7,617 billion, an increase of VND 2,800 billion compared to last year (in 2021 it was VND 4,786 billion). The pre-tax profit of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. last year reached VND 1,692 billion, an increase of more than VND 500 billion compared to 2021.

Regarding the 2023 financial plan, the company sets a revenue target of more than VND 11,370 billion; pre-tax profit of VND 1,478 billion; tax and payment to the state budget of more than VND 3,800 billion.

Ho Chi Minh City Lottery Company Limited is one of 21 lottery enterprises in the Southern region.

Previously, according to the report of the Southern Lottery Council, traditional lottery revenue in the region in the first quarter of 2023 reached over 35,000 billion VND, an increase of nearly 22% over the same period. The average lottery ticket consumption rate in the region reached nearly 98.7%, an increase of 6.16% over the same period. The amount paid to the budget was over 12,300 billion VND, an increase of more than 48% and reaching more than 34% of the 2023 plan.
