The 2024 ASEAN Cup (AFF Cup) will continue with the first leg final between the Vietnamese team and the Thai team.
The match between these two rival teams will take place at 8:00 p.m. today (January 2, 2025) at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho).
This much-anticipated clash will be broadcast live on VTV2 and VTV Can Tho channels of Vietnam Television.
This is the 5th time the "Golden Star Warriors" have participated in the AFF Cup final, while the Golden Temple team has participated for the 11th time in history.
The Vietnamese team has only reached the pinnacle of glory twice, less than rival Thailand (7 times).
However, the 2024 AFF Cup will be the third time Vietnam and Thailand will face each other in the final. The previous two times, Vietnam won in 2008, while Thailand won in 2022.
