Hearse crashes into multiple vehicles stopped at red light in Nghe An, 1 person dead

On the afternoon of January 18, the leader of the People's Committee of Do Luong town (Do Luong district, Nghe An) said that a serious accident had just occurred in the area, killing 1 person and injuring 2 others.

Specifically, at around 10:30 a.m. the same day, a number of people riding motorbikes and electric bicycles were waiting at a red light at an intersection in Do Luong town when they were suddenly hit from behind by a hearse. The hearse then continued to crash into the back of a small truck.

The accident resulted in the death of Nguyen The D. (residing in Trung Son commune, Do Luong district) driving the motorbike on the spot, and the woman riding with him was injured. In addition, a person riding the electric bicycle was also injured and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Upon receiving the report of the incident, the town police and Do Luong district police quickly arrived at the scene to clarify the cause of the accident.
