On the morning of December 9, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Team 1, Traffic Police Department) said that the unit, in coordination with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force, had just extinguished a fire in a tractor trailer on the Phap Van - Cau Gie highway, from Ninh Binh to Hanoi.

At about 3:40 a.m. the same day, Team 1 received a report of a car fire at Km 183+300 on the Phap Van - Cau Gie highway (in Tu Hiep commune, Thanh Tri district).

Police identified the vehicle involved in the accident as a tractor trailer with license plate 29H-087.xx driven by Doan Van T. (born in 1991, residing in Ninh Binh).

After receiving the news, Team 1 mobilized officers and soldiers to the scene to direct traffic, coordinate with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and Rescue Police to extinguish the fire.

The fire did not cause any human casualties but damaged vehicles and goods.

“The fire did not cause any casualties, and property damage is being assessed. The fire also caused a partial congestion on the highway. At present, the highway has been cleared and traffic is back to normal,” said a representative of Team 1.

The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by Thanh Tri District Police.
