Previously, on June 18, 2022, in Ho Chi Minh City, a container truck overturned on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong highway through Long An province.

Specifically, at around 3:00 p.m. on June 18, the driver was driving a container truck with license plate 51D - 64540 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Tien Giang.

When moving to km27+400 near overpass No. 2 in Hamlet 1, Nhi Thanh Commune, Thu Thua District, Long An Province, he lost control, crashed into the hard median strip blocking two lanes, then broke a lamp post, and the container flipped over.

The front of the car blocked lane 1 of the opposite direction. Meanwhile, the container was lying across lane 1 of the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to the West. The accident caused severe damage to the front of the container, with many pieces of debris scattered across the road.

The accident also broke a lighting pole and damaged about 10m of the median guardrail.

Because the broken lamp post was located almost all the way across lane 1 of the opposite direction, traffic from the West to Ho Chi Minh City was congested for nearly 10km, for many hours.

Recently, on November 23, in Hai Duong province, a traffic collision occurred between a tractor-trailer and a truck, causing traffic congestion on the road for many hours.

Specifically, at around 6:00 a.m. the same day, at Km 68+200 on National Highway 5, the section running through Kim Xuyen commune (Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong), a container truck moving in the direction of Hai Phong - Hanoi suddenly collided with a truck carrying iron traveling in the same direction ahead.

The collision caused the iron truck to be thrown onto the median strip, the front of the tractor trailer was severely damaged. The truck driver suffered a broken right leg and had to be hospitalized.

Immediately after the collision, traffic police arrived at the scene to investigate the cause, regulate traffic, and guide vehicles.
