On the morning of November 23, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee held a conference to promote trade and logistics services, aiming to maximize the advantages of the areas surrounding Long Thanh airport.

According to Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Dong Nai has the most industrial parks in the country, along with advantages in roads, railways, and waterways, so the circulation and transportation of goods is very convenient for connecting the Southeast, Central and Central Highlands regions; at the same time, it is an area with an important position in terms of politics, security and defense of the Southern key economic region.
In addition, Dong Nai also has advantages in deep-water seaports such as Cai Mep - Thi Vai port, Phuoc An port, and soon Long Thanh international airport.
Currently, the area surrounding Long Thanh International Airport has enough space to develop a modern aviation center, diverse aviation and non-aviation services. Develop an airport city model, in which air cargo transportation services are the center to promote industrial centers, commercial services, logistics, conferences, offices, medical facilities, restaurants, hotels, etc.
"In addition to Long Thanh International Airport, which is gradually being completed and put into operation in 2025, the Prime Minister recently approved Bien Hoa Airport as a dual-use airport. Thus, Dong Nai will have two airports in operation in the future, thus the province will become one of the leading accommodation, logistics, trade, service and industrial centers in Southeast Asia. This will also be an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors," said Mr. Nguyen.
To become a dynamically developing area with high and sustainable economic growth, a competitive logistics center, Dong Nai also focuses on developing modern industry along with restructuring the development of trade and services. The goal by 2030 is to turn the trade and service sector into a spearhead to create momentum for economic development.
After listening to the reports of the leaders of departments and branches at the investment promotion conference, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, said that with a receptive spirit, Dong Nai is ready to prepare the best conditions to welcome domestic and foreign businesses and investors.
"Dong Nai hopes and expects to soon welcome a wave of investors and businesses, especially large corporations and companies in the fields of business, trade and services.
