

The Co Ba Temple Festival consists of two parts: the ceremony and the festival. During the ceremony, there are palanquin processions, traditional sacrificial ceremonies...
During the festival, delegates and visitors enjoyed performances by amateur actors from Phu Nhuan commune. Along with that were folk games such as stick pushing, tug of war, blindfolded drumming, overpass walking, ball playing, and swallow playing.

After the welcoming performances, delegates and visitors reviewed the historical traditions of the temple.


Co Ba Temple is an ancient temple built by local people to worship Co Ba, a character in the Four Palaces Mother Goddess religion in Vietnam.
The temple was recognized as a provincial historical and cultural relic in 2018. Today, people in Phu Nhuan commune still tell the story of Co Ba. The story is that in the past, this land had a beautiful princess who often helped the people. She was very good at water and often taught the people in the area how to travel on the river and catch seafood in the river, so the people in the area loved and respected her very much. After the princess passed away, people built a temple to worship her. Since then, Co Ba temple has become an important spiritual and cultural activity place, associated with the religious life of the people of Phu Nhuan commune and neighboring localities.
Nowadays, the temple has been renovated and attracts more and more tourists from all over the world to visit and worship.
The Co Ba Temple Festival is an opportunity for people to continue to inherit and promote the good cultural values left by their ancestors, while contributing to preserving the national cultural identity, associated with the development of tourism economy, meeting the spiritual needs of people and tourists from all over the world.
