Declan Rice dreams of playing in the Champions League
The race to sign Declan Rice has heated up after West Ham confirmed they will let their captain leave in the summer transfer window after winning the Conference League title.
West Ham chairman Dullivan said the club had promised to let the England midfielder leave after he refused to extend his contract despite being offered a pay rise of up to £200,000 a week.
Arsenal are said to be leading the race, having agreed personal terms with Declan Rice and are ready to spend big to secure his services at the Emirates.
However, the Gunners could face stiff competition from Manchester United as manager Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his midfield. There are also Man City and Bayern Munich.
No matter which team Declan Rice joins, he will satisfy his desire to play in the Champions League.

Coach Zidane refused to lead PSG
La Parisien reported that coach Zinedine Zidane has rejected PSG's offer to replace coach Christopher Galtier in the "hot seat" at Parc des Princes.
The above source said that although it has not been officially announced, sports director Luis Campos has informed coach Galtier that he is no longer a PSG player.
Zidane has always been a top priority for Qatar's owners and the club made contact in May, with the French legend once again, after being rejected more than once.
However, PSG did not receive a positive response from the "smoke guy" despite making an attractive offer to be in the top 3 highest paid coaches in the world.
PSG recently tried to invite Zidane again but was still flatly rejected. The club now has to turn to the shortlist of Julian Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique and Xabi Alonso.
Real Madrid are said to have withdrawn from the race for Harry Kane after being "shocked" by the Three Lions captain's salary demands as well as Tottenham's price. (Source: Football365) |
Real Madrid give up on signing Harry Kane
Diario AS reported that the Spanish Royal team has given up the intention of signing Harry Kane due to Tottenham's salary requirements and price.
According to this source, Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy has offered a transfer fee of 115 million Euros for the 29-year-old player, while Harry Kane demands a salary of 20 million Euros/season.
Real Madrid find these demands unreasonable, especially when Harry Kane will turn 30 next month, while he also has only one year left on his contract with Tottenham.
Sources in Spain say Real Madrid are only willing to pay 80 million Euros for the English striker.
Coach Ancelotti sees Harry Kane as the ideal replacement for Benzema after the French striker ended his 14-year stay at the Bernabeu to join Al Ittihad, Saudi Arabia.
MU also considers Harry Kane as a top priority in the summer transfer, but it is also difficult to meet the demands of this striker as well as Tottenham.
Besides, negotiating with President Levy is extremely tiring, so coach Erik ten Hag has a plan B, negotiating with Rasmus Hojlund (Atalanta) and Kolo Miani (Frankfurt).

Liverpool sign Alexis Mac Allister until 2028
On the morning of June 9 (Vietnam time), Liverpool announced the successful recruitment of Mac Allister on the team's homepage. The "Red Devils" did not disclose the price, but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the amount Liverpool spent was about 35 million pounds.
This is a pretty good price for Mac Allister's talent. After winning the 2022 World Cup with Argentina, European press estimated the midfielder's transfer value at around 80 million pounds.
Mac Allister shared his joy after joining Liverpool: "It's amazing. My dream has come true. I can't wait to play for Liverpool.
I wanted to contribute to the team right from pre-season. It's great to have this move done, I'm looking forward to meeting my new team-mates.
It's been a great year for me. I won the World Cup, had a good run with Brighton. Now it's time to think about Liverpool and try to improve every day.
After the World Cup, I always want to conquer more titles and Liverpool will be the place to help me do that."
Mac Allister was an irreplaceable midfielder for Argentina alongside De Paul and Enzo Fernandez in their run to the 2022 World Cup. He also scored 10 goals in 35 Premier League appearances for Brighton, helping the team finish in the top eight.
Mac Allister's contract with Liverpool runs until 2028. After completing his contract with Liverpool, he will join the Argentina national team to prepare for two friendly matches against Australia and Indonesia in June.
