On August 29, the Naval Region 5 Command announced that the unit had just handed over the "Comrades' House" to professional military lieutenant Nguyen Van Tan - electromechanical employee (Radar Station 620, Regiment 551).
Lieutenant Tan's house has an area of 90m2 . with a construction cost of about 300 million VND. Of which, 80 million VND was taken from the Navy's fund for the poor. The remaining amount was saved by Lieutenant Tan's family and helped by relatives.
Colonel Vo Hung Lam - Chief of Political Affairs of Naval Region 5 - said that after 3 months of construction, the comrade house was completed. Supporting the construction of the "Comrade House" for Senior Lieutenant Tan - a soldier with difficult housing circumstances - is a meaningful and practical activity, demonstrating the concern of leaders at all levels for officers and soldiers of the unit.
"Through this, the unit also hopes to contribute to encouraging, motivating, and helping Lieutenant Tan's family to reduce difficulties and have more conditions to improve in life," said Colonel Lam.
