After the inspection, the interdisciplinary team pointed out violations and took action against the wharf management unit according to regulations.
On December 13, speaking with Giao Thong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Chief Inspector of Nghe An Department of Transport, said that the Department had just sent a document to the People's Committee of Quynh Luu District and related units to request handling of violations at Son Hai Bus Station as reported by Giao Thong Newspaper.

Accordingly, after Giao thong Newspaper published the article "Bus station owner demolishes waiting house to build house but still collects payment for payment order" on November 20, 2024, reflecting the problems at Son Hai Bus Station, Hamlet 7, Son Hai Commune, Quynh Luu District, Nghe An Province. The Department of Transport established an Inspection Team to inspect compliance with technical regulations on passenger bus stations at Son Hai Bus Station.
The inspection team coordinated with representatives of Quynh Luu District People's Committee and Son Hai Commune People's Committee to inspect the scene, records and documents related to Son Hai Bus Station.
Through inspection, the delegation determined that Son Hai Passenger Station was approved for detailed construction planning by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 5262/QD-UBND dated November 27, 2009 and was announced to be put into operation for the first time by Nghe An Department of Transport in Decision No. 42/SGTVT-KHTH dated January 10, 2009.
The new bus station named Quynh Luu Passenger Bus Station, invested by Huy Hai Cooperative, has been put into operation but is still sparsely populated.
Compared with the detailed construction planning approved by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 5262/QD-UBND, Huy Hai Transport Cooperative (the management unit of Son Hai Bus Station) arbitrarily demolished construction works in the approved planning drawings (including: Operation House, restroom, driver's rest house) to build new works without approval of the competent authority to adjust the planning.
In addition, through inspection, the Department of Transport inspector discovered and made a record of administrative violations against Son Hai Bus Station for "Not confirming or incorrectly and incompletely confirming information in the Transport Order as prescribed or confirming the Transport Order when the vehicle was not at the station".
“Thus, the issues that Giao thong Newspaper reported at Son Hai Bus Station are completely correct. Currently, to carry out the function of state management of construction order in the area, the Department of Transport requests the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district to direct relevant agencies to inspect the compliance with legal regulations on construction activities for Huy Hai Transport Cooperative at Son Hai Bus Station. At the same time, send inspection and handling information to the Department of Transport for coordinated management,” Mr. Hung informed.
Also according to the Department of Transport, currently, the Quynh Luu District Bus Station (at Hamlet 4, Quynh Hong, Quynh Luu) invested in and built by Huy Hai Cooperative has been put into operation.
"We request the cooperative to quickly complete the procedures to transfer passenger transport routes at Son Hai Bus Station to the new station in accordance with the planned orientation," Mr. Hung added.
