On the afternoon of January 9, the Organizing Committee of TNSV THACO cup 2025 held a technical meeting with representatives of football teams, referee supervisors, match supervisors, security and medical forces to prepare for the qualifying round of TNSV THACO cup 2025 in the South Central - Central Highlands region.

The qualifying round of Group C, South Central - Central Highlands region took place from January 10 to 18 at Nha Trang University Stadium (Khanh Hoa) with 6 participating teams: Nha Trang University, Da Lat University, Khanh Hoa University, Quy Nhon University, Thai Binh Duong University, Nha Trang College of Tourism . The 6 teams were divided into 2 groups and competed in a round-robin format to select 4 teams for the semi-finals and finals; the winning team will win a ticket to the final round held in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the technical meeting, the Organizing Committee representative re-publicized the tournament regulations, answered technical questions from the teams as well as tournament organization.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Doan Hung, Vice Principal of Nha Trang University, said that Nha Trang University was very honored and happy to host the qualifying round of the South Central - Central Highlands region of the THACO Cup 2025 for the second time.

According to Dr. Tran Doan Hung, the tournament is organized based on the message "Play Fairly - Win Fairly - Cheer Beautifully", so the organizers expect the players to play with a fiery spirit but also play fair. "Do not let personal outbursts affect the image of the whole team. We also hope that the teams must give their all, and should not be calculating and lose the appeal of the tournament", said Dr. Hung.

"We will try our best to make the tournament go well. For teams from far away such as Quy Nhon University and Da Lat University, the school's lecturers and students will wholeheartedly support and create favorable conditions for the players to live and compete. For the decisive matches to advance, the monitoring and medical units must ensure safety and create the best conditions for the players to participate in the tournament," Dr. Tran Doan Hung shared.

Journalist Tran Quang Tuyen, member of the tournament's organizing committee, emphasized that the TNSV THACO cup 2025 has many breakthroughs, the matches have been and are taking place very dramatically and are unpredictable. The rookies are new factors, adding to the attractiveness of the tournament. In particular, the tournament regulations are the "compass" of the teams participating in this year's tournament.

"Regarding the records of the players participating in the tournament, the Organizing Committee has cross-checked to verify and ensure clarity and transparency for the tournament. If any unclear cases are discovered, the Organizing Committee will resolve them immediately, ensuring fairness for the teams participating in the tournament," said Mr. Tuyen.

At the meeting, the Organizing Committee answered questions from representatives of the teams, and agreed on the spirit of fair play, contributing beautiful and impressive football moves in the qualifying round of the South Central - Central Highlands region.

The qualifying round of the 3rd Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament - 2025 THACO Cup has 66 teams divided into 6 groups competing according to geographical areas from December 28, 2024 to January 18, 2025. Specifically, including the northern region (from December 30, 2024 - January 10, 2025 at Thuy Loi University Stadium); the Central Coast region (from January 6 - January 12, 2025 at Military Zone 5 Stadium - Da Nang); the South Central and Central Highlands regions (January 10 - January 18, 2025 at Nha Trang University Stadium); the Southeast region (January 4 - January 12, 2025 at Bau Thanh Stadium, Ba Ria - Vung Tau); Southwestern region (January 8 - January 17, 2025 at Can Tho Stadium) and Ho Chi Minh City region (December 28, 2024 - January 15, 2025 at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium) to select 11 teams with the host team Ton Duc Thang University to compete in the final round of the tournament from March 1 - March 16, 2025.
