Mr. To Dung Thai, Chairman of the Board of Members of VNPT Group, said that in order to effectively realize the contents of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW into practice, with its mission, VNPT Group will focus on synchronously and drastically implementing three main priority tasks. Firstly, promoting investment in research and development (R&D), focusing on strategic technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, IoT, Cloud and 5G/6G, to create a foundation for innovation and enhance competitiveness. Secondly, building and developing advanced digital technology infrastructure, especially 5G networks, data centers and national digital platforms, to meet the requirements of comprehensive digital transformation. Thirdly, developing high-quality human resources through in-depth training and attracting domestic and international talents. Pioneering role in national digital transformation Accompanying the national digital transformation strategy, building a digital government, digital economy and digital society in Vietnam, in recent years, VNPT has always focused on developing and providing information technology product ecosystems, fully meeting the tasks of digital transformation solutions including infrastructure and digital technology platforms. VNPT Group has developed a widespread fiber optic infrastructure to provide broadband internet to 100% of communes nationwide, to every household, contributing to reducing the digital gap between regions and localities in Vietnam. Up to now, Vinaphone 5G has covered 63 provinces and cities nationwide, focusing on coverage and service provision in key socio-economic areas such as district administrative centers, industrial parks, seaports, airports, schools, hospitals, and tourist areas. VNPT is also a pioneer in providing the leading digital ecosystem in Vietnam with 8 data centers located in major provinces and cities including Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. All of these centers fully meet strict domestic and international standards. In particular, IDC Hoa Lac is one of the largest and most modern data centers in Vietnam, capable of providing the most advanced data services, ready to meet the "tailor-made" requirements of all domestic and international customer segments. The continuous construction, development and operation of large data centers demonstrates VNPT's aspiration to accompany the Government in building a modern, internationally-standard digital infrastructure so that Vietnamese data can be stored and processed in Vietnam according to the direction of the Government and the Ministry of Information and Communications. That is the goal that by 2025, 100% of Government agencies and 70% of enterprises will use domestic cloud computing. VNPT has also focused on researching and mastering many new 4.0 technologies such as AI, Big Data, IOT, Block chain, etc., allowing businesses and people to share, develop and use services. In particular, VNPT has researched and developed an ecosystem of VNPT AI services covering many areas from eKYC identification, voice processing, text processing to face recognition, image recognition, etc. VNPT AI applies the latest technologies, meets international standards and is completely mastered by Vietnamese engineers, so it has the ability to change to adapt to the specific needs and conditions in Vietnam. Recently, VNPT has also launched a comprehensive enterprise cloud computing ecosystem (VNPT Cloud). This is a step in line with the global trend of switching to green and environmentally friendly technologies, when the applied technologies are all aimed at users, saving energy and protecting the environment. At the same time, putting into operation a comprehensive digital agricultural ecosystem to meet the diverse needs of customers from the government to businesses, cooperatives, farmers, etc. on two platforms: AIMS and VNPT Green. VNPT has set a goal of simultaneously implementing two strategies, a breakthrough in digital transformation and a move towards green transformation, to not only become a leading digital technology enterprise in Vietnam but also a pioneer in the green transformation trend that is taking place strongly on a global scale. With its potential and experience in digital infrastructure, information security and information technology solutions, VNPT has always been trusted and chosen to take on an important role in many national projects such as the National Document Interconnection Axis, the National Public Service Portal, the National Reporting Information System, etc. Identifying national data as one of the focuses of digital government, VNPT has deployed comprehensive data integration and interconnection for the OneGov ecosystem; upgrading the National Population Database system, the National Database system on cadres, civil servants, public employees, etc., and deploying data warehouses, specialized databases on land, health, education, social security, construction, industry and trade, culture, sports and tourism, etc. VNPT has participated in providing solutions to meet 31/44 pilot models of Project 06/CP. In the coming period, VNPT Group determines to continue its strategy of cooperation and companionship with the Government, ministries, branches, provincial/municipal People's Committees and large corporations and groups to build national digital transformation solution platforms.
