VNPT introduces comprehensive digital ecosystem at the 2nd National Forum on Digital Economy and Digital Society Development

The “slices” of the initial achievements on that great journey were introduced at the Second National Forum on Digital Economy and Digital Society Development organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Central Economic Commission and the People's Committee of Binh Duong province. VNPT digital ecosystem - the driving force for comprehensive digital transformation At the forum, VNPT not only made a strong impression with quality presentations on smart agriculture but also affirmed its strong commitment to responding to and accompanying the Government in the digital transformation process through digital ecosystems introduced by VNPT in the exhibition area on the sidelines of the forum. A typical example is the VNPT Natural Resources and Environment Ecosystem, providing comprehensive solutions for the management of all 9 areas of the natural resources and environment sector, helping to monitor and manage natural resources and provide early warning of extreme weather events. These technologies help management agencies and people proactively respond to environmental issues, contributing to resource protection and sustainable development. In addition, VNPT has developed a Digital Education Ecosystem with more than 20 products and services covering most of the important processes and operations of the education sector, helping managers, teachers, parents and students have effective and modern platforms and tools to effectively support teaching and learning. VnEdu 4.0 has a complete set of solutions for the pillars: digital administration, digital teaching, digital services. In addition, VNPT also has an ecosystem for digital government, digital healthcare, etc. All of these ecosystems are invested in by VNPT in the long term and systematically, from research and development of digital transformation solution sets to specialized ecosystems. All are specifically designed to suit the needs of each industry and field. These solutions not only meet management and operation requirements but also ensure the enrichment of "correct-sufficient-clean-live" data sources, effectively serving professional operations. In particular, VNPT is also clearly aware of the need to integrate new technologies such as AI 4.0 into management support systems, helping to optimize processes and provide smart utilities for users. Dynamic reporting systems, AI Assistant, SmartBot, SmartVoice, etc. help improve work efficiency and ensure information security in all information technology systems and specialized data. Building a strong digital agriculture adapting to climate change At the forum, Deputy General Director of VNPT Group Ngo Dien Hy gave an important speech on "Smart agriculture adapting to climate change". Mr. Hy emphasized the serious challenges that climate change is posing to the economy and society, especially in the agricultural sector. In that context, building a smart and climate-resilient agriculture sector is extremely important. Because building smart agriculture will meet the three core goals today: increasing productivity to meet the trend of increasing population, serving food security; reducing greenhouse gas emissions and applying industrial technology in agriculture. However, one of the biggest challenges when implementing smart agriculture is changing farmers' awareness of digital transformation. To be successful, it requires not only active participation from local authorities, People's Councils, and cooperative alliances, but also support from technology enterprises. Therefore, VNPT Group has built a comprehensive smart agricultural ecosystem - VNPT Green, combining smart agricultural solutions and new technology, helping farmers reduce emissions and improve production efficiency. As a comprehensive digital transformation ecosystem for the agricultural sector, VNPT Green has transparent components in the overall picture, connecting subjects from farmers - production enterprises - state management agencies to input suppliers. Through the application of IoT and modern data analysis, VNPT Green not only helps forecast production situations, but also helps farmers adapt to climate change proactively. Currently, VNPT Green has been tested in 8 provinces and cities and will continue to be "refined" and improved thanks to the knowledge gained from the practical operation process. In addition, as part of the application of this ecosystem, VNPT also provides agricultural databases to local authorities to serve the use of public administrative services in the agricultural sector in more than 20 provinces and cities across the country. In addition, to build a sustainable smart agriculture industry, Mr. Hy also proposed the need to build a set of smart agriculture indexes (CSA) suitable for Vietnam's conditions, study the World Bank's (WB) indexes and apply them to national goals on agricultural development; build a technology framework and assessment methods, guide the implementation of CSA; pilot, adjust and replicate the application of CSA to other areas in the agricultural sector.
