Only 60km from Hanoi, Vinh Phuc also has the advantage of attracting domestic and international tourists with many interesting eco-tourism and spiritual tourism destinations. With the potential of culture, land and people, in recent years, Vinh Phuc tourism industry has made a breakthrough development. In the province, there are more than 1,300 historical and cultural relics. Of which, 514 relics are ranked at all levels, 3 relics are ranked as special national relics including: Tay Thien scenic spot, Binh Son tower, Tho Tang communal house.
Vinh Phuc is also famous for eco-tourism, resorts, and adventure tourism. Among them, Tam Dao Town has long been a favorite tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Notably, in 2022, Tam Dao Town was recognized as a leading tourist destination in the world. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also recognized Tam Dao as a National Tourist Area. In recent years, heritage management in Vinh Phuc province has been promoted. The Provincial People's Committee has issued 18 documents directing localities to preserve, maintain and promote cultural heritages; directed the completion of dossiers to prepare for investment in restoration and repair of 24 relics in the province. Vinh Phuc province also approved the project outline for preserving and promoting the value of Dong Dau archaeological relics in the period of 2023 - 2025.
The work of directing and organizing the construction of “Model Cultural Villages” has been carried out synchronously. Up to now, many cultural and sports facilities of “Model Cultural Villages” have been inaugurated.
