On the evening of October 11, the program of Exchange of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the Southern region in 2024 took place at VOH Music One Theater, Ho Chi Minh City.
The program is chaired and organized by the Central Propaganda Department. The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Vietnam Television coordinate to produce.

Ho Chi Minh City for the whole country, developing with the whole country
The program of Exchange of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the Southern region honored 12 models, 17 typical examples who are cadres, party members, soldiers, doctors, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, workers, farmers and ordinary examples in daily life of the provinces and cities in the Southern region.
Mr. Phan Van Mai - Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - said that in the period of 2021 - 2024, Ho Chi Minh City has honored 1,391 typical examples at the city level and 16,979 typical examples at the district and grassroots levels.
Including 326 new models, good practices; 247 breakthrough, creative contents.
At the same time, the city also implemented the construction of Ho Chi Minh cultural space so that Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, style and heritage are always present, becoming the spiritual assets and cultural values of cadres, party members and people of the city named after Uncle Ho.
Mr. Phan Van Mai emphasized: “In 2025, together with the whole country, Ho Chi Minh City will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Ho Chi Minh City will continue to carry out the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in a more systematic and in-depth manner, associated with the construction of Ho Chi Minh's cultural space and practical emulation activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; contributing to the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City so that the city can serve the whole country and develop with the whole country."

Dare to speak, dare to do, dare to take responsibility
Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Head of the Central Propaganda Department - proposed to continue to promote the implementation and innovation of the content and methods of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in every work and every development policy; creating breakthroughs in the three contents of "Studying from Uncle Ho - Following Uncle Ho - Setting an example for cadres, party members and people of all walks of life".

The highlight of the program is the interaction with typical examples.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Dat (son of patient Nguyen Huyen Tran) emotionally said: "I sincerely thank the charity emergency center of Mr. Chu and Mr. Tung for saving my mother. I only have one mother, I don't have a second mother."
Associate Professor, Dr. Ha Thi Thanh Huong said: “The pioneering of the previous generation is the guiding light, the health of patients is the driving force, the continuation of the next generation is the belief and hope. Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Van - head of the Nhan Ai women's group, quarter 2, ward 4, Ben Tre city - shared: "According to Uncle Ho's teaching, emulation means patriotism, so now, at an old age, I still think about doing practical things with my fellow countrymen to build our homeland."
