Objective, transparent, reputable
The “For a Green Future” vote not only helps raise awareness of sustainable development in the industrial real estate sector, but also contributes to promoting initiatives and projects aimed at protecting the environment, using resources effectively and minimizing negative impacts on the ecosystem.
The organization of the voting process has synchronous coordination between the parties, ensuring objectivity, transparency and prestige. The special point in the organization is the careful preparation and systematization of the voting criteria. These criteria not only focus on effective business factors, but also focus on initiatives and solutions related to environmental protection and sustainable development. This requires businesses to demonstrate their commitment to applying environmentally friendly technologies, optimizing energy use and conserving resources.
The voting process is conducted through many rounds, with the participation of leading experts in the fields of real estate, environment and economics. This not only ensures fairness, but also helps to select truly deserving businesses with outstanding contributions to society and the environment.
The event honoring the winning enterprises in the Vote is not only an occasion to honor, but also creates a strong media effect. As the main organizer, Dau Tu Newspaper has made full use of its media channels, including print newspapers, electronic newspapers and other online platforms to spread the message and importance of the Vote "For a Green Future", spread the image of the honored enterprises and contribute to raising public awareness of sustainable development.
In addition, the connection of communication between businesses is also a notable factor. Through the event, businesses in the industrial real estate industry have the opportunity to meet, exchange, share experiences and cooperate in project development.
The communication from this event also plays a role in promoting cooperation between businesses and state management agencies in building policies to support and encourage sustainable development in the industrial real estate industry. Thereby, contributing to creating a healthy competitive market, a stable business environment and long-term development.
Need to expand the audience and diversify voting criteria
The “For a Green Future” vote has brought many positive values to the business community, especially in the field of industrial real estate and sustainable development.
To improve the quality of the Vote in the coming years and ensure greater objectivity and transparency, the Organizing Committee should expand and clarify the evaluation criteria. Currently, the Vote criteria mainly focus on environmental protection and sustainable development initiatives. The Organizing Committee can add criteria related to corporate social responsibility (CSR), technological innovation and application of green solutions in production and management activities, etc. to create a more comprehensive evaluation framework, helping to reflect the multi-dimensional efforts of businesses in sustainable development.
The organizers can also develop separate sets of criteria for specific sectors within industrial real estate, such as industrial parks, factories, green logistics, or renewable energy projects. This helps ensure that businesses in each sector have the opportunity to demonstrate their contributions more clearly.
The voting should further expand the scope of participants in the evaluation and voting by integrating opinions from multiple stakeholders, such as researchers, environmental NGOs, and local communities directly affected by industrial projects. This will make the evaluations more objective and multi-dimensional, thereby enhancing the persuasiveness and comprehensiveness of the voting results.
In addition, the Vote could be improved by investing in developing a dedicated online platform, not only for businesses to submit their entries, but also for audiences, partners and investors to follow and participate in voting more conveniently. This platform could provide detailed information about participating businesses, the green initiatives they are implementing, as well as transparent evaluation criteria. At the same time, this is also a tool to create connections between businesses, audiences and investors interested in green solutions.
Additionally, blockchain technology can also be used to ensure transparency in voting, helping to prevent errors or unwanted interference in the results.
Should pay more attention to small and medium enterprises
Another significant improvement is to expand the scale and scope of the Poll, including expanding the scope of participation, not only in the industrial real estate sector, but also in supporting and related industries, such as renewable energy, logistics, green technology. This will create opportunities for more businesses, thereby encouraging them to participate in environmental protection and sustainable development initiatives.
In addition, the Organizing Committee should consider organizing international or regional award categories, helping Vietnamese enterprises have the opportunity to compare and learn from foreign enterprises, while enhancing the image and position of Vietnamese enterprises in the international market.
Another important point is to maintain interaction with businesses after the Voting ends. Instead of just stopping at awarding prizes, the Organizing Committee should organize more business networking events such as seminars, forums or talks, creating conditions for businesses to share experiences and cooperate to develop sustainable projects. These activities will create a close-knit network between businesses and help expand the impact of the Voting.
Organizing annual forums, seminars or field trips to honored businesses can also be an effective way to maintain community interest and motivate non-award winning businesses to continue to strive.
Another important proposal is to establish a dedicated support fund for green initiatives. This fund could be mobilized from social resources, investors, or international funding organizations. The winning enterprises in the “For a Green Future” Vote could receive funding to implement or expand sustainable development projects, thereby promoting the implementation of green solutions more widely.
Strengthening the role of independent experts
Currently, the voting criteria for “For a Green Future” have focused on sustainability and environmental protection factors, however, Dau Tu Newspaper can clarify and expand these criteria.
Specifically, three evaluation categories can be added, including: green technology application (emphasizing advanced technological solutions that help minimize environmental impacts); community development and social responsibility (evaluating businesses' efforts in supporting the community, improving people's living and working conditions); energy saving and resource regeneration (focusing on energy saving projects, efficient use of resources).
In addition, voting categories can be divided according to business size or field of operation to ensure fairness and suitability for each group of participants.
At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the role of independent experts and diversify the Jury. The selection of Jury and independent experts with extensive expertise in the fields of environment, green economy and sustainable development is extremely important to ensure a more objective and accurate evaluation process. Inviting international experts to join the Jury also helps create a global perspective and enhance the international nature of the award.
Using social media, corporate videos and interactive direct communication campaigns will attract community interest and increase the reach of the Vote.
In addition, Dau Tu Newspaper can consider expanding the scale of the poll to the region and internationally by inviting more foreign enterprises to participate. This will not only enhance its reputation but also create opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to learn from advanced sustainable development models in the world.
Cooperation with international organizations also helps to turn the “For a Green Future” Vote into an event of regional and international stature, thereby attracting much attention and contributing to promoting Vietnamese enterprises to achieve international standards on environmental protection.
